Spring is here, Honest!

Since my last writing, the Early Dog-violet and Common Dog-violet have flowered. The Cowslips, Cherries are in flower along with non-natives such as Spring Beauty. It may have gone cold again compared to last week but this is only a temporary glitch. Blackbird's, Robin's, Blue Tit's and Crow's have all been seen nesting and Blackbird's shells have been found meaning the first young have hatched. If you look around, the migrants are back. Firstly the Chiff-chaff which was later then normal, then the Sand Martin's followed by Blackcaps, Willow Warbler and House Martin. More will follow. The sun is warming everything up again and Spring will be in full drive soon.
