With all the rain we have had this Winter, it is not surprising some changes have occurred. This Badger sett had converted itself into an indoor swimming pool, so the Badger did what any self respecting mammal (including us) would do, moved out and built itself a new sett. This one is drier and the Badger brought up some lovely Roman pottery shards.
Other things to look out for are Spring flowers such as Colt's-foot and birds such as Blackbird's and Blue Tits are already nesting. Did see some Long-tailed tits gathering nesting material. Spring is here, the sun feels warm and the days are getting longer.Nice things to look forward to while most people are panicking about Covid-19.
