This weekend while walking my dog one early morning, I saw a female Red Fox (vixen) - unfortunately not the one above as I didn't have my camera on me, keeping a watch on me while her cubs played in the long grass. Other great things to look out for are House Martins which have arrived back in the Caistor area. There numbers have declined and are a rarity around here to compared to many years ago. Another great site was a Red Kite gliding around the Lincolnshire Wolds looking for carrion to feed off. If you have enjoyed the sunshine, there are many other things to look out for. There are plenty of butterflies and bees about. I haven't seen so many Orange tips for a longtime.
